The grape harvest of KUTJEVO winery started yesterday. More stable weather conditions follow the current phase of grape ripening, and expectations are that this year`s harvest will yield top quality wines. The very beginning of grape harvest takes place 7 days later than in 2020. The harvest began with Muscat Ottonel variety at the Škomić vineyard. The harvest of sauvignon continues at the Hrnjevac vineyard position, as well as the Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and Chardonnay varieties at other locations. The peak itself is expected in about 10 days when the ideal conditions for harvesting Graševina are reached.
KUTJEVO winery will buy grapes from long-term subcontractors this year as well.
In 2021.,as in previous years, they continue to build a stable relationship with a wide network of family producers and wine growers.
The model of cooperation they nurture with subcontractors is long-term. Not a single contract has been canceled this year and a secure purchase of grapes is guaranteed.
KUTJEVO winery provides subcontractors a much-needed security and support at all stages of production.
The purchase of about 3.5 million kilograms is planned, and increases in the purchase price of grapes for all categories have been announced.
