The wine style of Graševina de Gotho reveils new face of graševina grape variety, for which the grapes were carefully selected and hand picked a bit later than with usual harvests, which brought a specific character and enabled a production of stylized and layered wine.
After a careful and long production process and few years of proper aging inside the cellar, a new vintage 2019 is coming to the market and will not disappoint true enthusiasts of top wine creations.
Grapes for Graševina de Gotho are harvested by hand, yields are reduced, while in the process of production, cold maceration was carried out to extract the color, tannins and aromatic substances found inside the skin of the grapes. After that, the controlled fermentation started in a stainless steel tank, while the part was separated and aged in wooden barrels. After fermentation, the wine matures for the next 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels. In this way, a complex, refined wine was created, elegant, creamy, but fresh and aromatically interesting.
The sophisticated and complex Graševina de Gotho vintage 2019 is a wine of crystal clear gold color. It is adorned with sweetness and vibrant refinement of long-lasting taste, which gained a lot of roundness as it aged. Aromatic associations of peach and apple appear in the fragrance, complemented by warm, honey and floral notes. The taste is dominated by rich aromas of ripe pear and peach fruit that create a harmonious aftertaste. A limited series of structured and refined Graševina is intended for the exclusive HoReCa channel, which is sold to specialized wine shops and wine shops.
