At the first major international evaluation of wines produced from the graševina grape variety called Olaszrizling Grand Tasting 2021, held in Pécs, Graševina Ice Wine, vintage 2018, was declared the winner of the evaluation.
The mentioned wine won the highest number of points and evaluators were won over by the intense herbal scent that opens the profile of meadow flower honey. They pointed out that the characteristic acidity perfectly balance the sweetness, and the aftertaste reminds of candied lemon and the apricot sweet. The best rated wine is adorned with an extremely intense and long finish, with an abundance of citrus sweets. In the competition of wines made from graševina grape variety from various European countries, graševina`s from the Kutjevo wine region achieved remarkable success. In addition to the Ice Wine, the gold medal was won by the Maximo Brut sparkling wine and the Top Graševina 2020 vintage.
