Promotion of wine and grape seed oil in Zagreb

Kutjevo Winery held a promotion of wine and grape seed oil in Zagreb’s Cheesbar. The event was attended by numerous media, distributors, and business partners with whom we regularly cooperate.

The promotion started on the terrace of the iconic Cheese bar with a welcome sparkling wine and an introductory story about the winery held by enologist Zrinka Vinković Jergović. After the welcoming sparkling wine, the tasting began with light gastronomic delicacies combined with grape seed oils. To raise the entire gastronomic experience to a higher level, macerated graševina Koria vintage 2017 a dry wine with, deep, dense golden color, was served. The aromatic profile is dominated by notes of vanilla and ripe pear, followed by notes of dry grass, dry almonds, and apricot. The wine is partly warm and soft, with well-integrated tannins and a medium body.

Among the red wines, Pinot noir de Gotho was tasted, a wine with a lighter body, pleasant freshness, well-integrated tannins, and an accentuated character of red berries, after which the guests tasted Maximo Nero, a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc, a wine dominated by the flavors of blackberries fruit, fuller body, and more pronounced tannic structure. The tasting culminated with a red Koria Cuvee served with oxtail stew. The limited series of black Koria brilliantly balances the characteristics of cabernet, pronounced tannins, and varietal characteristics of blackberries with subtlety and elegance and the earthy tones of cherry, which represent the varietal characteristics of pinot.
