Another confirmation of the consistency and profile of the Kutjevo winery was proven at the aforementioned competition, where our numerous bottles of Graševina stood out by winning valuable medals.
The competition took place from 14.6. until 17.6. in the area of Kutjevo, Osijek and Ilok, the famous wine towns of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem.
Kutjevo was the host on June 14 and 15, and various graševina from 9 countries participated, while the qualified judging panel was composed of 20 judges from 11 European countries.
In the amber category, our famous Graševina Koria 2018 achieved the best result, despite strong competition, winning the gold medal with a significant 92 points.
In the category of mature, aged wines, Graševina de Gotho from 2019 and Graševina de Gotho from 2020 stood out, winning a gold medal, and the High quality Graševina from 2020 won an enviable platinum with an exceptional 94 points and thus placed in the prestigious second place of that category by only one point difference. In the mentioned category, High quality Graševina from 2021 also received a medal, winning silver.
In the cuvée category, Maximo Oro from 2020, a blend of Graševina and Chardonnay, stood out, winning silver, and Maximo Bianco from 2020, a blend of Graševina and Traminca, winning bronze.
In the sparkling Graševina category, Maximo Brut from Kutjeva stood out, winning silver.
In the dessert wines Graševina category, Graševina Ice Wine from 2018, winning an enviable platinum, as well as Graševina Ice Wine from 2009, winning gold.
In the category of young (fresh) Graševina, the best positions were the High quality Graševina from 2022, winning gold, followed by the new product of the Kutjeva winery, the attractive Graševina Vinkomir from 2022, also winning gold, and Graševina Vetovo 2022, Graševina Hrnjevac 2022 and Graševina Kutjevo 2022. .winning silver.
