Kutjevo Winery Celebrated Its First Harvest Day with a Rich Program and an Unforgettable Atmosphere

On September 25, Kutjevo Winery organized its first-ever Harvest Day — an event filled with joy and a special atmosphere, attended by numerous business partners and friends from Croatia and the region. The program took place at the Vinkomir vineyard site and was further enriched by entertaining wine-themed games, including “Glass-to-Glass Pouring,” “Grape Harvest,” and “Barrel Rolling.”

While some guests took part and had fun in the wine games, others enjoyed a wide selection of Slavonian specialties prepared by the restaurant Slavonska kuća Vinkomir. Guests savored Kutjevo Graševina, and in the exclusive Tasting Corner, they also had the opportunity to try Kutjevo Winery’s premium labels. Visitors could tour the oldest wine cellar, dating back to 1232, while the festive atmosphere was enhanced by local tamburitza musicians.

The Trenk’s Pandurs joined the day program, while the Bektez Cultural and Artistic Society performed in the evening, bringing a spirit of tradition and cultural heritage to the event. KUD Bektež presented an old harvest custom — grape stomping. The full-day program offered a wide range of activities, from wine games, delicious food, and music to traditional customs, a wine quiz, and valuable prizes for the winners — including the finest bottles and cellar-aged wines.

Guests were personally welcomed and thanked for their attendance by Mladen Itrak, President of the Management Board of Kutjevo d.d., and Ivan Marinclin, Chief Winemaker of Kutjevo Winery.
“With almost 7 million liters of must in the cellar, this year’s harvest confirms an exceptional year for Kutjevo,” said Chief Winemaker Ivan Marinclin.

Kutjevo d.d. extends its gratitude to all partners, friends, and guests whose presence and participation helped make the first Harvest Day a truly special event.
