Kutjevo winery marked the christening of the new vintage with a traditional celebration that took place this year in Lauba – a house for people and art. For this spectacular occasion, Lauba was decorated according to the high standards of the most successful Croatian winery Kutjevo. In addition to a great production which included a visual show, exhibited archival wines and a symbolic vineyard, more than three hundred guests also enjoyed a rich gastronomic and cultural entertainment program, a tasting of the young Graševina vintage 2022 and other wines from the premium line of the Kutjevo winery. A special tasting corner was prepared for the occasion. Along with top quality wines, guests had the opportunity to taste cold-pressed grape seed oils.
Business partners and high-ranking officials were addressed by board member Mr. Dino Galić, who also spoke on behalf of the Board of Affiliated Companies and the owner of Kutjeva d.d. Mr. Enver Moralić who expressed his gratitude for the presence and long-term cooperation with one of the largest and most important wineries in the region. Continuous success at major international competitions and the persistent work of our hard-working and skilled workers, technologists and oenologists show the consistency of the quality of the production of top and premium lines of wines from the Kutjevo winery and confirms the exceptional potential of the Kutjevo vineyard as unique in the region and the world. With a record harvest in 2022 of over 5 million liters, we can expect top-quality wines, which is also confirmed by the young Graševina 2022.
The Kutjevo Winery proudly informed all guests that by the end of this year, they will achieve a record sale of over 5,300,000 liters of wine and for the first time over a million bottles of premium quality wines.
The must baptism ceremony that evening was led by the famous actor Vedran Mlikota, in the role of the wine bishop, who was helped by members of the Požega historical troupe, Trenkovi panduri. KUD Orljava from Pleternica, vocal ensemble Ladarica and tambura band “Dyaco” also contributed to the special atmosphere.
