(Zagreb, October 1, 2020) – At the 17th Decanter World Wine Awards, which brings together top wine experts from around the world and enjoys great trust due to its rigorous evaluation process, the highest recognition – Platinum Medal – was awarded to a special selection of Graševina winery Kutjevo, premium Graševina de Gotho, vintage 2018.

The competition was judged by 116 judges, including 37 Masters of Wine and 9 Master Sommeliers, and as many as 16,537 wines from 56 countries were evaluated over 28 days. In the last round, which included all the wines with a gold medal, Graševina de Gotho 2018 delighted the jury with its refined excellence and achieved the historic success of the Kutjevo winery.

Sophisticated, but layered and complex, Graševina de Gotho 2018 is a wine of crystal clear golden color that will delight you when you look at the glass. Fine ripeness, which is expressed in the fruity, long-lasting taste of peach and apple notes, this wine gained fullness and roundness by aging. Fine maturity and longevity, the aromas of Graševina de Gotho are further emphasized by six months of aging in barrique barrels. The aromas are rich, floral, fruity and blend perfectly with the taste, giving this wine a harmonious whole.
