Today, Mr. David Vlajčić, Minister of Agriculture, conducted a working visit to Kutjevo d.d., accompanied by the State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Tugomir Majdak. They were joined by the Prefect of Požega-Slavonia County, Ms. Antonija Jozić, and the Mayor of Kutjevo, Mr. Josip Budimir.
During the visit, they toured key business segments, including the Kula plant, the biogas facility, and the viticulture operations of Kutjevo Winery, where modern production processes and sustainable resource management were showcased. Special emphasis was placed on innovative approaches in agriculture and energy that contribute to the company’s long-term development and competitiveness.
As part of the tour, the delegation also visited the Slavonska Kuća Vinkomir Restaurant, where the eno-gastronomic offering was presented as a vital component of the region’s wine tourism development.
Representatives of Kutjevo d.d. took this opportunity to present all current and planned projects, highlighting investments in seed production, viticulture, energy efficiency, and the development of tourism facilities. They stressed the importance of synergy between traditional production and modern technologies, as well as continuous investment in quality and sustainability.
The visit concluded with a constructive dialogue and mutual satisfaction regarding the exchange of experiences and plans for the further development of the Croatian agri-food sector.
